Modern Foreign Languages

At Long Lawford, we believe that learning a foreign language is essential for the pupils’ development. Learning about other cultures helps pupils understand different perspectives within the world in which we live and helps them recognise and respect “ways of being” that are not necessarily their own. More than that, it is scientifically proven that learning a new language is extremely beneficial for our brains.
