Music

Our vision is to provide all children with a broad and highly practical music curriculum, giving opportunities to sing and play instruments, as well as explore music from all around the world. At Long Lawford we believe that music should always be an enjoyable experience and will include performance, composing, listening and appraising. These skills, learned at Long Lawford Primary School and developed during future school experiences, will enrich the lives of our children through to adult life.

We strive to teach a highly practical music curriculum. Children have the opportunity to play melodic and rhythmic instruments in every lesson. Children have time to practice and develop the 4 key skills of listening, singing, composing and performing.
