Art

Our vision is to provide all children with a broad and balanced art curriculum, giving opportunities to explore different types and mediums of art. We currently hold the Silver Award for the ‘Arts Mark’, showing our commitment to bringing learning to life through arts, culture and creativity! We enhance our art curriculum to ensure art is entwined in many different forms and showcased in many different ways.

Curriculum for Art

We strive to teach a rich, broad, balanced and creative curriculum where there are plentiful opportunities for art and culture to be promoted, laying the foundations for success in life. We cover 4 key areas:

  • Generate ideas (creative ideas using different media)

  • Make (Drawing, painting, and sculpture)

  • Evaluate (improve)

  • Knowledge (understand)
