Margaret Patrick has been a co-opted governor since 2017. During that time, she has seen the school grow significantly in physical size and pupil numbers. Margaret is particularly interested in curriculum development and the use of pupil premium funding to support children in a variety of ways.

Her background is in education, beginning with a first teaching post in the centre of Birmingham. Margaret’s first class was challenging – they liked to hang by their fingertips from the first-floor window ledges and they had witnessed an armed robbery at the factory across the road.

She looks forward to working with LLPS in the future and congratulates the staff for their on-going commitment, enthusiasm and hard work on behalf of the LLPS school community. On our Governing Body, Margaret is Link Governor for Curriculum and Pupil Premium.
