Online Learning

How will school provide Online/Remote Learning?

Long Lawford is committed to providing children with a broad and balanced curriculum either remotely or on school site.  Further resources are available below for a wide range of curriculum subjects.

Some useful home learning resources are on the BBC Bitesize website and from the government at The Oak National Academy.  Once logged into their email, children will also be able to access Purple Mash.  If you are unsure how to access this great learning platform, please email admin2405@welearn365.com and we will do our best to help.

There is a further page of Online Learning resources, which is updated regularly, at the bottom of this page as well as our school Facebook page.

We are all aware of the difficulties with managing screen time - please see the guide below for tips on how to help everyone spend less time in front of the screen.

We are aware that children will be using technology a lot to help with their learning. If you have any concerns relating to Online Safety, please contact the school. Alternatively, the CEOP website has lots of information about what to do. For further information about Online Safety and safeguarding, please look at our Safeguarding page. The government has released some guidance for parents with suggestions of how to make learning from home as successful as possible. We have put together some PDFs and a list of links to help you to support your children’s learning at home.
